SEMANARIO TRIBUNE (TRIBUNA – TRIBUNE) DEL ICUF (1952-1961)
El semanario bilingüe Tribuna (ídish/castellano) fue desde 1952 hasta 1961 la fuente principal para recuperar la voz del ICUF durante la Guerra Fría, en coincidencia con las posiciones de la Comisión Israelita del Partido Comunista. Bajo la dirección de Rubén Sinay y con las colaboraciones de Luis Goldman, Luis Pomer, Ioel Linkovsky y Tzalel Blitz, entre otros, Tribuna daba cuenta de la posición ideológica del movimiento icufista en cuestiones nacionales e internacionales.

La política internacional de Estados Unidos, Israel y la Unión Soviética fue monitoreada y discutida con especial énfasis en la prensa judía en aquellos años. Tribuna citaba a Nueva Sion, y viceversa, para analizar e interpretar las notas de opinión publicadas por los periodistas de uno y otro diario.
La colección del semanario Tribuna, del cual se publicaron 560 números, tiene 412 volúmenes disponibles (faltan del número 108 al 256). En promedio, cada volumen posee unas 12 páginas: el número total de páginas es de casi 5.000.
Tribuna (Yiddish/Spanish) (1952 to 1961) is bilingual weekly that was the main source to recover ICUF’s voice during the Cold War. Under the direction of Rubén Sinay and with the collaborations of Luis Goldman, Luis Pomer, Ioel Linkovsky and Tzalel Blitz, among others, Tribune unveiled the ideological position of the movement in regards to national and international matters.
The international policy of the United States, Israel and the Soviet Union was monitored and discussed with special emphasis on the Jewish press in those years. Tribuna cited Nueva Sion, and vice versa, to analyze and interpret the column articles published by the journalists of both newspapers. Tribuna weekly published 560 issues, which ICUF currently has 412 volumes available (because issues 108 to 256 are missing).
